Liverpool 5-0 Swansea

Gerrard celebrating the first goal Liverpool 5-0 Swansea Anfield 44,832 Liverpool have moved above Swansea into 7th after a 5-0 win over a weak  Swansea side. Swansea's last game before the Capital One Cup final next Sunday ended in a 5-0 Whitewash. Swansea manager Michael Laudrup says he is partly to blame for the defeat after making seven changes to the side that beat QPR 4-1 last weekend.  The game was dominated by Liverpool from the first minute, they had penalty claims turned down before one was won by Luis Suarez after he was fouled in the box, Steven Gerrard stood up to take it and scored it to make it 1-0 to Liverpool.  Liverpool had more chances before half time but Vorm kept the score 1-0 at half time. After 16 seconds of the second half Liverpool were 2-0 up when Philippe Coutinho worked his way though the Swansea defence and then took on the shot and it found a way past Michel Vorm in the Swansea goal   Liverpool celebrate the second go...

Attendance's at football matches has dropped in recent years apart from the top teams in England, like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Luton's cup dreams are over after being beaten 3-0 at home by Championship Millwall.
