MANCHESTER UNITED were beaten at ease by Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon. MILLWALL have sacked Steve Lomas after 6 months in charge at The Den. Axed Lomas A statement on the clubs website read: Millwall have announced that manager Steve Lomas has been relieved of his duties following the 4-0 Boxing Day defeat at Watford which saw The Lions slip to 20th in the Championship table. Coach Neil Harris and Academy Director Scott Fitzgerald, both former players at The Den, will take temporary charge of the team for the trip to Doncaster on Sunday, and until a new permanent manager is appointed.
