FT REPORT: SWANSEA CITY 2-1 MANCHESTER UNITED Brandon Smith Reports Andre Ayew and Bafatembi Gomis cancelled out Juan Matas goal to leapfrog Manchester United in the table.  Louis Van Gaal's Manchester United were looking for revenge for last seasons double defeat to Swansea City as they faced Monks Swansea at the Liberty  on Sunday evening .  Rooney's woes in front of goal came to an end midweek as Manchester United slammed Club Brugge but it was all a Austin of whether he could replicate that against the welsh side who had no injury concerns coming into the game. FT REPORT: SOUTHAMPTON 3-0 NORWICH Brandon Smith reports Norwich City travelled to Southampton on Sunday afternoon looking for their first win at Saint Mary's since 2008 but a Tadic brace and a strike from Graziano Pelle denied them 3 points in their return to the premier league. Southampton were without former Chelsea defender Ryan Bertrand and Jordan Clasie through injuries but Saido Mane returned from his knock. The canaries troubles with Lewis Grabban continued as he was suspended for the match and they also missed Lafferty and Mulumbu through injury. It was action from the start as Norwich gave away a free kick within the first 60 seconds which forced Ruddy into making a good save from a curling 30 yard effort from James Ward Prowse. FT REPORT: West Brom 2-3 Chelsea

Chief Reporter Alex Grace Reports The Premier League's early kick-off saw Chelsea travel to West Brom were they had not won in any of their last four visits, losing three. It is also the same venue were that the last two Chelsea manager's reigns have ended. Both sides were searching for their first wins of the season three games in. Tony Pulis had won the previous two matches matches between the two managers and held an upper hand overall. Chelsea started new singing Pedro who singed for the club on Thursday and he got on the scoresheet. Diego Costa doubled Chelsea's lead after West Brom's James Morrison had his penalty saved. He made amends by halving the deficit before Cesar Azpilicueta scored his maiden Premier League goal to restore the two goal lead before half time. FT REPORT : Everton Vs Manchester City Brandon Smith reports Sunday afternoons Premier league fixture between Everton and Manchester City saw the league favourites pitted against the blue half of merseyside who have 6 clean sheets in 10 at home. Manchester City had won 8 premier league games on the trot and were looking for a ninth, something that had not happened in the top flight for them in over 100 years. Roberto Martinez had said before that match there are always great games between the two sides and expects "today to be no different". Everton's game against Watford was questionable, however there 3-0 win away against Southampton was much more convincing. Chief Reporter Alex Grace reports from Glanford Park. Millwall have ended their run of three successive defeats in all competitions and kept their first clean sheet of the season after a stalemate at Glanford Park. Scunthorpe who have won four of the last six meetings between the sides including the 2009 League One Play-Off Final spurred the best chance from the penalty spot in the second half. FT REPORT: Charlton Athletic vs Hull City Brandon Smith reports Hulls trip to South London on Saturday meant the clash between two teams who hoped to continue their unbeaten record with Charlton coming off the back of a well fought draw at Derby which saw last seasons joint top scorer Tony Watt snatch a goal, however the Irishman was an injury doubt for the addicks.  it was winter 1985 when Hull last beat Charlton at the Valley and they were looking to try and renew that record with Sone Aluko In great form.
