Alex Grace
At The Den
Reading’s 6thwin
in a row and close the gap on the top 2.
Reading
fans and players will be watching what happens at the Cardiff City stadium after
coming form behind to win at The Den.
It
was good performance from Millwall throughout the game and deservedly went 1-0
up after 15 minutes when Andy Keogh picked up the ball and put the ball through
the legs of the keeper and into the back of the net.
After
the goal Millwall kept going forward and putting on the pressure but they could
not get the second goal that they wanted and then all their hard work was taken
away in first half stoppage time when Ian Harte put in the corner, Forde done
well to punch it but no one was there to help him out from Robson Kanu’s volley
1-1 at the Break.
In
the Second half Reading came back into the game but Millwall were still the
team creating the chances and their first of the second half was a Bouazza Free
kick but it went over later on Josh Wright had a shot that went wide.
Then
was a reading break and the Reading wide man got the better of Shane Lowry and
passed the ball across to Adam Le Fondre who slotted the ball into the bottom
left hand corner the Millwall players, fans and Kenny Jackett thought he was
offside, Reading held onto win 2-1 it what was a tough game at The Den.
