Brighton have moved top of the Npower Championship after a 1-2 win away at Millwall who slipped to a 3rd defeat in a row and into the bottom 3.
A Worry for Brighton is that top scorer Craig M Smith had to substituted in the first half with an injury. He provided Ashley Barnes with the ball and he smashed it home past David Forde in the Millwall goal on 17 minutes.
After the Brighton goal Millwall came out and attacked a nearly got a goal back through Andy Keogh but a fine save from the Brighton keeper.
After the break Brighton doubled their lead after Andrea Orlandi's corner was not cleared and the ball fell to Adam El-Abd who smashed home from 6 yards.
It went from bad to worse for Kenny Jackett and his team when the Lions were down to 10 men after Chris Taylor was sent off after going for a 50-50 ball with the Brighton keeper.
Millwall were given a lifeline 11 minutes from the end when Chris Wood drove the ball home from 7 yards, Wood had another chance right at the end but the Brighton keeper pulled off a great save to ensure Brighton would go top of the table. Kenny Jackett after the game said that the red card was harsh on Taylor.

His header broke the hearts of Palace who were denied a precious point in the battle against relegation. One man who will be thanking Kane for scoring will be Spurs right back Serge Aurier who had missed an open goal a few minutes prior to Kane's goal. The result saw Spurs go above Chelsea into the top four on goal difference before the Blues's trip to Manchester United. The defeat for Palace see's them remain 17th in the table outside the drop zone on goal difference. They also play Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool in three of their next four fixtures. It was a tight and tense affair in the first half and Spurs were unlucky to be denied two penalties....
