BREAKING NEWS: BRISTOL CITY SACK MANAGER DEREK MCINNES


Bristol City have sacked Derek Mcinnes a 4-0 home defeat by Leicester City.

City have slumped to the bottom of the table after Barnsley's 2-0 win over Leeds United and their 4-0 home defeat to Leicester.

City issued the following statement on their official website 'Jon Lansdown, Football MD, said: “This is a decision we felt we had to make for the good of the football club. 

“Derek has been a pleasure to work with; he’s disappointed but he understands the decision.

“We want to give ourselves the best possible chance of getting out of the situation we are currently in and we’ve got 20 games to do that.”

The search for a replacement is underway Derek becomes the 7th manager to lose his job since Christmas.
