WOLVES SACK DEAN SAUNDERS

Wolves have sacked manager Dean Saunders following their relegation to League One on Saturday it is back to back relegation's for the midlands club. They are now looking for their 5th manager since sacking Mick McCarthy in February 2011.

A statement on the Clubs website read:

Manager Dean Saunders has been informed by Wolves that his contract is to be terminated.
The decision has been made following confirmation of Wolves’ relegation to npower League One.
Assistant Manager Brian Carey will also be leaving the Club.
Wolves have now begun a recruitment process, which, in conjunction with the Board, will be managed by Head of Football Development & Recruitment Kevin Thelwell.
The Club will now take as long as is necessary to make this crucial appointment and there will be no publicly communicated timescales.

Wolves would like to thank Dean and Brian for their efforts in what has been a very difficult period for everyone, and wish them both the very best for the future.
The Club will be making no further comment at this stage

Another season has come to an end. This is the period where you will see managers come and go and players come in and depart clubs. The 2018/19 has now come to and end and Brighton finished in 17th place. I believe that if you had offered that to them most Brighton fans would have accepted a third successive season of Premier League football. EVERTON SACK SAM ALLARDYCE

EVERTON have sacked Sam Allardyce, with Marco Silva set to replace him at Goodison Park.  Allardyce leaves Goodison after just 7 months in charge. Everton finished the season in 8th position in the Premier League table with 49 points, 12 fewer than they achieved last season. Allardyce met with the club's majority shareholder Farhead Moshiri this morning (Wednesday) where he was told that his services were no longer required. This is believed to be have been a decision that come from an Everton board meeting on Tuesday afternoon. It is believed that Allardyce will receive the vast majority of of the final 12 months of his contract which Sky Sports estimate is around £6m. Barclays Premier League Preview: Southampton v Everton

Ronald Koeman will return to the dugout this weekend after missing last week's match at Newcastle after having ankle surgery.  He will be hoping that his Saints side can cut out the errors as they welcome Everton to St Mary's this weekend.
