Lee Bowyer praises Sarr and Taylor & reveals what he was disappointed with in Forest victory

Lee Bowyer was delighted after watching Charlton beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the City Ground.
Lyle Taylor’s first-half strike secured three crucial points in their battle against relegation with their first win on the road in 13 attempts.

“From start to finish we were better than them. They created the odd chance here and there – but they are a good side – not many sides have taken four points from Forest this season, especially to come here and get three.
The Charlton boss was disappointed that his side did not win the game by a much more comfortable margin. “For me, it should’ve been more. The only criticism I have is that we should’ve won by more.”
Naby Sarr has been on the end of criticism from his manager this season but the Charlton chief was full of praise for his defender after this showing, as it was his wonderful ball that led to Taylor’s strike midway through the first half. “We had to be brave on the press – if Naby wasn’t brave on the press then we don’t score the goal. He was really high – he was right in front of myself.
“And it was some ball. That’s what he has – a beautiful left foot. If you give Lyle a chance he scores, that’s what he does. I’m pleased for Naby and pleased for Lyle. It shows what we’re trying to drum into them pays off.

HARRY KANE broke Crystal Palace hearts as he headed home an 88th minute winner at Selhurst Park.  It was Kane's 35th goal of the season and his 150th career club goal, the goal equalled his record of goals for last season as he once again looks on course for another stunning season in front of goal. His header broke the hearts of Palace who were denied a precious point in the battle against relegation. One man who will be thanking Kane for scoring will be Spurs right back Serge Aurier who had missed an open goal a few minutes prior to Kane's goal. The result saw Spurs go above Chelsea into the top four on goal difference before the Blues's trip to Manchester United. The defeat for Palace see's them remain 17th in the table outside the drop zone on goal difference. They also play Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool in three of their next four fixtures. It was a tight and tense affair in the first half and Spurs were unlucky to be denied two penalties....
