Italy will play Spain in the U21 Championship final after beating Holland 1-0 in the semi final

MANCHESTER CITY have confirmed that Manual Pellegrini will take over as manager from June 24th. Pellegrini replaces Roberto Mancini who was sacked after the club lost 0-1 to Wigan in the FA Cup final. Prior to Mancini's sacking at City, Pellegrini announced that he would leave Malaga at the end of the season. Pellegrini's goal will be to reclaim the Premier League title from local rivals Manchester United next season. This was the statement on City's website: Manchester City Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini as first team manager. OWEN Coyle has been named the new manager of Wigan this afternoon on a 12 month rolling contract. Coyle replaces Roberto Martinez who joined Everton last week.  Wigan Chairman Dave Whelan had this is to say after the news broke earlier this afternoon (14th June) "I have agreed a deal in principal with Owen and his agent is now with our Chief Executive to finalise the deal, but as far as i am concerned we have sorted it and i hope the rest will be sorted out in the next hour. Coyle managed Bolton between 2010 and 2012 before being sacked 5 months after being relegated from the Premier League. He now takes over the 2013 FA Cup winners.
