
MANCHESTER CITY have confirmed that Manual Pellegrini will take over as manager from June 24th.
Pellegrini replaces Roberto Mancini who was sacked after the club lost 0-1 to Wigan in the FA Cup final. Prior to Mancini's sacking at City, Pellegrini announced that he would leave Malaga at the end of the season.
Pellegrini's goal will be to reclaim the Premier League title from local rivals Manchester United next season.

Manchester City Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini as first team manager.
Pellegrini, who joins the Club on a three year contract, will take up the role from 24th June.
Reacting to his appointment Pellegrini said: “I am delighted to accept this hugely exciting opportunity. The Club has a clear vision for success both on and off the pitch and I am committed to making a significant contribution.

Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said: “Manuel is a hugely experienced and successful manager with a proven track record.
