Another England free-kick and another chance, the ball comes in and is just kept out by the keeper as it looked certain to be heading into the bottom corner from Cahill's header.

Slovenia 0-0 England
Free kick comes's Englands way... Comes to nothing and England are struggling to create anything as are the hosts.

Good work by Rose down the left hand side sends the ball to Lingard who gets it back to Cahill who's shot is deflected for a corner, which comes to nothing

Slovenia 0-0 England
Second booking of the night for England and it's Daniel Sturridge who has gone into the book he follows Eric Dier who was put in the book earlier

Home Nations Update
Both of the other Home Nations are losing tonight, Scotland who are in England's group are trading 1-0 in Slovakia, while Northern Ireland are trailing 2-0 to World Champions Germany

Slovenia 0-0 England
The hosts are not afraid to come forward and attack in England especially on the counter attack which makes us slightly vulnerable.

Slovenia 0-0 England
Slovenia are playing a very high pressing game, doubts whether it can last throughout the whole game, makes a change to seeing this against us though.

Sacking Chris Hughton - Is it the right decision?

Another season has come to an end. This is the period where you will see managers come and go and players come in and depart clubs. The 2018/19 has now come to and end and Brighton finished in 17th place. I believe that if you had offered that to them most Brighton fans would have accepted a third successive season of Premier League football. Add onto that, The Seagulls also made the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Chris Hughton has paid the price for Brighton's poor form in 2019. This decision however, seems extremely harsh. Here is his overall record in charge of the club. Games: 215 Wins: 88 Draws: 57 Defeats: 70 That works out to a win percentage of around 40% that is not bad for a team that's budget is pennies compared to some in the Premier League. Brighton staying in the top flight is an achievement in its self and something that should not be looked over.  Hughton took over at Brighton back in 2014 when the club was struggling at the bottom of t...

Barclays Premier League Preview: Southampton v Everton

Ronald Koeman will return to the dugout this weekend after missing last week's match at Newcastle after having ankle surgery.  He will be hoping that his Saints side can cut out the errors as they welcome Everton to St Mary's this weekend. Southampton needed a Shane Long header 11 minutes from time to rescue a point against Steve McClaren's men at St James' Park last Sunday and the Southampton boss saw plenty of areas for Improvement. 'I wasn't impressed because I was not happy about the first half. Already in the Vitesse match we had too many mistakes the same in the first half at Newcastle." "All the dangers of Newcastle came from faults. The second half the reaction of the players and the physical state in the last 15 minutes was very good because we had the best chances to win the game" "Starting the season with a draw away against Newcastle isn't a bad result bur normally, if we play our level we win the game. " Sou...
