GERRARD CLOSING IN ON MK DONS JOB

STEVEN Gerrard is closing in on his first job in football management, according to sources he
has held talks with MK Dons.

Gerrard who announced that he was leaving L.A Galaxy after two seasons in America. He has been linked with a return to Liverpool in a coaching role as well as linking up with former manager Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.

This now looks like it won't be happening and that Stevie G is about to land his first role in management. Should he take over at Stadium:mk he would be taking over at a side who currently sit in the League One relegation places and still winless at home.
