Sunderland have named former Brighton manager Gus Poyet as the clubs new manager. Poyet was very successful as a player in the Premier League with Chelsea, he was also praised for the job he done as Assistant manager at Tottenham back in 2008. His only job as a manager was with Brighton where he led them to the League One title in his first season. His second season he led them to a 10th place finish in the Championship before last season leading them to 4th before being sacked in June  this year.

STEVE Lomas has had no dream start to life as Millwall manager with 2 points from their first 6 games. Millwall Boss Lomas The Lions are rock bottom of the Championship after a humiliating 5-1 home defeat by Derby at The Den on Saturday. Lomas along with Bolton's Dougie Freedman are both joint favourites for the chop at 4/1. After only being in the job for 3 months Lomas has admitted that he is under pressure and at full time on Saturday most of the fans were calling for his head.
