Manchester Utd 4-4 Everton

Man United 4-4 Everton
Everton upset United’s Party.

Manchester United will not be able to win the title at City next Monday after being held to a 4-4 draw with Everton after being 4-2 up. Everton took the lead through Nikica Jelavic on the 33rd minute with a great header, which gave David De Gea absolute no chance and set Everton on their way.

Manchester United were not going to in at half time losing so they drew level through Wayne Rooney on the 41st minute with a header that got the better of Toffies keeper and former United man Tim Howard.

In the second half United came out looking the better side and had a few more chances before taking the lead for the first time in the game when Danny Welbeck curled a great shot past Howard and into the top corner left him with no chance.

After the 2nd goal was scored the crowed lifted and United began to take control of the game and soon they made it 3-1 when Welbeck provided the pass for Nani who smashed home number 3 for United.

Just when we all thought United had the game wrapped up Everton came back with goal out of nothing when Tony Hibbert crossed the ball and Fellani was there to slam the ball home with a drive from outside the box low into right hand corner leaving David De Gea with no chance
3-2.

Not happy about the goal United bounced right back by going up the other end and scoring again through Wayne Rooney his second of the game and United’s 4th it was a low drive from deep inside the Everton Box after the pass from Danny Welbeck.

At this stage of the game with just 8 minutes left you thought that Everton were down and out but no, with just 8 left of the clock they gave themselves a life line as Phil Neville put the ball across and Jelavic put the ball into the back of the net 4-3 game on with 8 minutes left.

Then the impossible happened Everton leveled through Steven Pienaar deep in side the box and in to the bottom left hand corner after the ball was played to him by Fellani.

Everton leave old Trafford with a point after one of the games of the season Sir Alex later said, “we can never do that again”, and they cant if they want to win the league the pressure grows on the Manchester derby Next Monday.

It didn't take long to get in front. Bernando Silva's cross found Sergio Aguero, who had too much space in the box and headed across goal for Phil Foden who headed in from close range after just five minutes.  That was Foden's first Premier League goal on his second ever Premier League start. City continued to create chances but failed to take them. Aguero thought he was in after being played through by Bernando Silva but he was flagged offside.  Paulo Ganzaniga came into the starting lineup as one of five Tottenham changes. He however, was looking fragile. He made a number of errors that only gave City confidence. Trying to chip the ball over a player five yards out was one of a number of things the keeper attempted that c...
