EVERTON have sacked Sam Allardyce, with Marco Silva set to replace him at Goodison Park.  Allardyce leaves Goodison after just 7 months in charge. Everton finished the season in 8th position in the Premier League table with 49 points, 12 fewer than they achieved last season. Allardyce met with the club's majority shareholder Farhead Moshiri this morning (Wednesday) where he was told that his services were no longer required. Here is a round up of last nights action. Arsenal 1-2 Watford  Troy Deeney celebrates scoring Watford's 2nd This surely was the week that Arsenal had to crank up the pressure on their London rivals by beating Watford and then winning at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, safe to say its got off to a bad start. The Gunners were 2-0 down inside 13 minutes at the Emirates Stadium in truth had it not been for Petr Cech the game could well have been over before Half-Time.
