Alex's Predictions

Here we go with another round of predictions. Could this be the weekend that Sunderland are relegated?

Southampton v Hull - Saturday 3PM

This is an interesting game, Hull will feel that this is possibly a good chance to end that rotten form away from home, it is incredible the difference between them at the KC and away from home. Southampton and Claude Puel have had their critics this season, I do feel that they are a bit harsh and I think they will get the win here.

My Prediction: 2-1

Stoke v West Ham - Saturday 3PM

This for me is one of those typical end of season games. West Ham are safe and have nothing to play for after was has been at times a very difficult season for Slaven Billic. Stoke are safe and not going to qualify for Europe but they will want to finish in the top 10 for a 4th successive season. Its not often I go against Stoke at home.

My Prediction 2-0

Sunderland v Bournemouth - Saturday 3PM

Oh Sunderland! How many times have we been here? This year I don't think they can do it, yes there was some encouraging signs against Middlesbrough but they lost again and they are now 12 points from safety and they could go down this weekend if they lose and Hull get a point. Bournemouth are a hard side to predict because you never know which one is going to turn up. I think its going to be a draw.

My Prediction 1-1

West Brom v Leicester - Saturday 3PM

West Brom have gone off the boil recently, they just haven't been able to score and have had a few defeats but they have had a wonderful season and Tony has done an absolute brilliant job with them this year. Leicester don't like playing West Brom and I think they will lose.

My Prediction: 2-0

Crystal Palace v Burnley - Saturday 5.15PM

Burnley are another side who just can't get it right away from home. Burnley will play well like they always do but I don't think they will be able to beat Palace who in my opinion are now safe. I think this will be an entertaining game that will see goals.

My Prediction: 2-2

Man United v Swansea - Sunday 12PM

The pressure will be right on Swansea if Hull win at Southampton on Saturday. In my opinion the final relegation spot is between those two. I can't see Swansea getting anything at Old Trafford. United still have a chance of the top four and can move into them for short period at least on Sunday.

My Prediction: 2-0

Middlesbrough v Man City - Sunday 2.05PM

Boro are still going down, they may have got their first win in nearly 4 months on Wednesday but they just do not have the firepower to be able to challenge Man City and they are going to need to come out and fight and that will create holes in the backline which Man City will exploit.

My Prediction: 1-3

Everton v Chelsea - Sunday 2.05PM

This is a big game in the title race, if Chelsea are going to lose anywhere then its at Goodison Park. Everton have a great home record and Goodison is a very tough place to play when the fans are up for it which they will be. Chelsea played well against Spurs and Southampton but it was the fact they were more clinical.

My Prediction: 2-2

Tottenham v Arsenal - Sunday 4.30 PM

This is the game of the weekend. This will be the weekend where Spurs confirm they will finish above Arsenal. I know Arsenal have gotten a couple of results over the last week but no one has one at White Hart Lane this season and Spurs will cut the gap.

My Prediction: 3-1

Watford v Liverpool -Monday 8PM

This for me is the easiest game to predict, Watford are already on their holiday's they had a man advantage at Hull last week and still lost 2-0. Liverpool will have enough about them to beat Watford and all but secure their place in the top four.

My Prediction: 0-3

FT REPORT: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-1 TOTTENHAM

HARRY KANE broke Crystal Palace hearts as he headed home an 88th minute winner at Selhurst Park.  It was Kane's 35th goal of the season and his 150th career club goal, the goal equalled his record of goals for last season as he once again looks on course for another stunning season in front of goal. His header broke the hearts of Palace who were denied a precious point in the battle against relegation. One man who will be thanking Kane for scoring will be Spurs right back Serge Aurier who had missed an open goal a few minutes prior to Kane's goal. The result saw Spurs go above Chelsea into the top four on goal difference before the Blues's trip to Manchester United. The defeat for Palace see's them remain 17th in the table outside the drop zone on goal difference. They also play Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool in three of their next four fixtures. It was a tight and tense affair in the first half and Spurs were unlucky to be denied two penalties....

EVERTON SACK SAM ALLARDYCE

EVERTON have sacked Sam Allardyce, with Marco Silva set to replace him at Goodison Park.  Allardyce leaves Goodison after just 7 months in charge. Everton finished the season in 8th position in the Premier League table with 49 points, 12 fewer than they achieved last season. Allardyce met with the club's majority shareholder Farhead Moshiri this morning (Wednesday) where he was told that his services were no longer required. This is believed to be have been a decision that come from an Everton board meeting on Tuesday afternoon. It is believed that Allardyce will receive the vast majority of of the final 12 months of his contract which Sky Sports estimate is around £6m. A statement on the clubs website read: "On behalf of the chairman, board of directors and Mr Moshiri, I'd like to thank Sam for the job he has done at Everton over the last seven months. Sam was brought in at a challenging time last season to provide us with stability and we are grateful to h...
