West Ham start the search for a new permanent Manager

West Ham are believed to have started looking for a new permeant manager for next season.

The Irons sacked Slaven Billic in November and replaced him with former Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland boss David Moyes.

Both the Telegraph and The Sun are reporting that Moyes has failed to to persuade the owners to extend his contract pass the end of the season. Names such as Rafa Benitez and Huddersfield's David Wagner along with Marco Silva are all being talked about by the West Ham board.

After defeat on Saturday the Hammers are without a win in three Premier League games and are 12th in the table with 27 points, three above the bottom three. They were also dumped out of the FA Cup by Wigan and ad a difficult transfer window which ended in the Head of Recruitment being sacked for comments.

Opinion from me is that it would be a harsh decision. West Ham are without 11 first team players due to injury so that would make any job harder The window wasn't great some new additions would have been welcomed at the club.

He was tasked with keeping the club up and if he does that then he did what he was asked to do, you can't ask for much more than that.

EVERTON SACK SAM ALLARDYCE

EVERTON have sacked Sam Allardyce, with Marco Silva set to replace him at Goodison Park.  Allardyce leaves Goodison after just 7 months in charge. Everton finished the season in 8th position in the Premier League table with 49 points, 12 fewer than they achieved last season. Allardyce met with the club's majority shareholder Farhead Moshiri this morning (Wednesday) where he was told that his services were no longer required. This is believed to be have been a decision that come from an Everton board meeting on Tuesday afternoon. It is believed that Allardyce will receive the vast majority of of the final 12 months of his contract which Sky Sports estimate is around £6m. A statement on the clubs website read: "On behalf of the chairman, board of directors and Mr Moshiri, I'd like to thank Sam for the job he has done at Everton over the last seven months. Sam was brought in at a challenging time last season to provide us with stability and we are grateful to h...

Sacking Chris Hughton - Is it the right decision?

Another season has come to an end. This is the period where you will see managers come and go and players come in and depart clubs. The 2018/19 has now come to and end and Brighton finished in 17th place. I believe that if you had offered that to them most Brighton fans would have accepted a third successive season of Premier League football. Add onto that, The Seagulls also made the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Chris Hughton has paid the price for Brighton's poor form in 2019. This decision however, seems extremely harsh. Here is his overall record in charge of the club. Games: 215 Wins: 88 Draws: 57 Defeats: 70 That works out to a win percentage of around 40% that is not bad for a team that's budget is pennies compared to some in the Premier League. Brighton staying in the top flight is an achievement in its self and something that should not be looked over.  Hughton took over at Brighton back in 2014 when the club was struggling at the bottom of t...

Barclays Premier League Preview: Southampton v Everton

Ronald Koeman will return to the dugout this weekend after missing last week's match at Newcastle after having ankle surgery.  He will be hoping that his Saints side can cut out the errors as they welcome Everton to St Mary's this weekend. Southampton needed a Shane Long header 11 minutes from time to rescue a point against Steve McClaren's men at St James' Park last Sunday and the Southampton boss saw plenty of areas for Improvement. 'I wasn't impressed because I was not happy about the first half. Already in the Vitesse match we had too many mistakes the same in the first half at Newcastle." "All the dangers of Newcastle came from faults. The second half the reaction of the players and the physical state in the last 15 minutes was very good because we had the best chances to win the game" "Starting the season with a draw away against Newcastle isn't a bad result bur normally, if we play our level we win the game. " Sou...
